MHT-CET is a computer-based test (CBT) consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering the syllabus of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
The exam is conducted in online mode in multiple sessions, and candidates can choose the session and center of their choice while registering for the exam.
The
MHT-CET exam comprises of three papers - Paper 1 (Mathematics), Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry) and Paper 3 (Biology). Each paper consists of 100 questions, and each question carries one mark. The duration of each paper is 90 minutes, and there is
no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Based on the scores obtained in the MHT-CET exam, candidates can apply for admission to various colleges in Maharashtra offering undergraduate courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, and Agriculture.
