    NMATs Logical Reasoning section challenges your ability to think critically and solve problems using logic. It includes both verbal and non-verbal reasoning, with questions that assess your analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

    NMATs logical reasoning section has a total of 36 questions, total time allotted to NMAT LR section is 40 minutes.

    NMAT 2024 Exam Details

    Number of Questions

    The NMAT exam consists of 108 questions divided equally across the three sections—Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Logical Reasoning. Each section has 36 questions, and candidates need to manage their time efficiently within the given sectional time limits.

    Sectional Time Limit


    The NMAT exam provides a fixed time for each section, which cannot be changed once the candidate starts a particular section:

    • Language Skills: 28 minutes
    • Quantitative Skills: 52 minutes
    • Logical Reasoning: 40 minutes


    Marking Scheme


    The NMAT follows a no negative marking policy. This encourages candidates to attempt all questions without the fear of losing marks for incorrect answers.
