    What is CUET?

    CUET 2023 - Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national level entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for undergraduate admissions in participating universities. 

    It is mandatory for all candidates to take the CUET exam 2023 get admission in UG programmes in all central and CUET participating universities. The NTA re-opened the CUET 2023 application correction window on May 1. Candidates can make corrections in the CUET application form till May 2 at cuet.samarth.ac.in. The CUET UG 2023 city intimation slip will be out on May 14. The NTA will conduct the CUET 2023 exam from May 21 to May 31 for admission to undergraduate and integrated postgraduate courses at participating universities. 


    • Candidates could fill CUET 2023 application form till April 11, 2023. The National Testing Agency will conduct CUET for admission to 250 institutions. 
    • National Testing Agency started the CUET 2023 registration process on February 9, at the official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in.
    • Candidates could register themselves, submit the required documents and pay the pre-requisite fee to complete the CUET 2023 application process. CUET admit card 2023 will be issued 3 days before exam. CUET 2023 exam result will be announced in the third week of June. 
    • The CUET will be conducted in three slots as computer-based test. 
    • There will be four sections in the exam, Section 1A (language test), Section 1B (optional language test), Section 2 (domain-specific test) and Section 3 (general test).
    • All the participating universities will accept the CUET score for admission to UG courses.

    2. CUET 2023 Dates

    Candidates appearing in the CUET UG 2023 exam must check the schedule of Common University Entrance Test to not miss any important event.

    3. CUET 2023 Exam Summary

    The National Education Policy (NEP) and the National Testing Agency (NTA) have officially announced that CUET Exam will be held this year. The CUET exam is a qualifying examination for admission to 86 universities, including 43 central universities, 13 state universities, 12 deemed universities, and 18 private universities.

    4. CUET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

    Before applying for the CUET UG exam, it is important for candidates to review the eligibility criteria. The National Testing Agency (NTA) establishes the general eligibility criteria for CUET UG, while participating universities set their own programme-specific criteria.

    5. CUET 2023 Application Form

    The deadline for submitting the CUET 2023 application form was April 11, as announced by the NTA. The application form for CUET 2023 was made available on February 9, 2023. To access the application form, candidates can visit the official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in. In order to proceed with the application process, candidates must first register on the portal by providing the requested information. Once registered, they need to submit the application fee and necessary documents to complete the procedure.

    6. How to fill CUET 2023 Application Form?

    • Step 1: Go to the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in.
    • Step 2: Complete the CUET registration for 2023 by providing the necessary details.
    • Step 3: You will receive your login credentials on the email address and mobile number you registered with.
    • Step 4: Log in using the provided NTA login details and fill out the CUET application form.
    • Step 5: Upload the required documents, including a scanned image of your passport-sized photograph and signature, following the prescribed format.
    • Step 6: Make the payment for the application fee online.
    • Step 7: Print out a copy of the filled application form for future reference.

    7. CUET 2023 Syllabus

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) is responsible for publishing the syllabus for CUET UG. The CUET syllabus is designed based on the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. Candidates can refer to the official website to access the domain-specific syllabus. It is important for candidates preparing for the entrance test to review the CUET syllabus for 2023 in order to familiarize themselves with the topics and units covered in the exam.

    CUET UG Syllabus 2023:

    The syllabus for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET) will encompass various topics from the relevant academic syllabus of the preceding years. For UG courses, the CUET Syllabus 2023 will be derived from the academic syllabus of the 11th and 12th grades, while for PG courses, it will be based on the academic syllabus of the corresponding undergraduate courses.

    8. CUET 2023 UG Exam Pattern 

    The CUET 2023 exam has been divided into four sections as per the revised CUET Exam Pattern 2023. 

    • Section IA – 13 Languages
      Section IB – 20 Languages 

    • Section II – 27 Domain-specific Subjects 
    • Section III – General Test

    9. CUET 2023 Cut Off

    The CUET Cut Off 2023 will be published once the CUET 2023 exam is concluded. The Cut Off marks will be released alongside the scorecard of the entrance examination. Only candidates who achieve scores higher than the Cut Off marks will be invited to participate in the online/offline CUET counselling conducted by the relevant authority. The CUET Cut Off will be determined based on factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, previous year's cut off marks, and the availability of seats. It's important to note that the Cut Off marks may vary for different programs and universities.

    10. CUET 2023 Counselling

    After the release of the CUET Result 2023, each participating university will initiate its own CUET 2023 counselling process. Candidates are advised to frequently visit the official websites of the participating universities to actively participate in the counselling process. During this process, candidates are required to register themselves for CUET 2023 counselling and select their desired programs within the specified timeframe. It is important for candidates to carry the necessary documents for verification when attending the counselling sessions. Subsequently, based on the choices made by the candidates, the CUET 2023 admission lists will be published to allocate seats.
