1. The cabinet granted its approval additional instalment of Dearness Allowance and Dearness Reliefon March 24, 2023.

• The Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved an additional instalment of Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief to Central Government employees and pensioners.
• This additional installment will be effective from January 01, 2023, and represents an increase of 4% over the current rate of 38% of Basic Pay/Pension.

2. The Prime Minister inaugurated a new ITU Area Office 8 Innovation Centre in New Delhi and launched a 6G R&D Test Bed and CBuD App.

• The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, inaugurated the new International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Area office & Innovation Centre in India.
